Definition of Vox Populi Vox Dei: “The voice of the people is the voice of GOD” in Latin.

Darion Chest (Vox Populi) takes on the persona of Vox Populi to represent the voice of GOD within us all. His opinions may seem against the grain according to most of societies standards but ultimately Vox speaks what most of us feel but cannot freely express due to the current state of society where exposing truth, feelings and thoughts can cost one their peace, or life.

Vox is an upcoming emcee born and raised in the Beautiful Pacific Northwest. He has lived in the cities of Albany, Salem and Portland Oregon. Also in the cities of Spanaway and Seattle Washington. Being able to experience different views and beliefs from people of small and large cities upon the WestCoast has helped shape Vox’s unique perspective. He uses his creativity to bring together music and social awareness in many different ways.

Vox plans to bring a refreshing alternative to mainstream hip-hop that will challenge other artist to be held more accountable with their character, as well as break the silence of topics that are long overdue.
